Meet Alex Jimenez Labora

My familyAlex obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1992. Prior to that he received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, in 1983 and his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana a Jesuit school in Mexico City in 1979.

Alex moved to Plantation, Florida upon completion of his MBA and then moved to Miami in 1985. As a resident of Miami-Dade County for nearly three decades, Alex has acted as a mentor, given back to the community and worked diligently in the Miami-Dade court system. Alex is a natural role model for young people and has been actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America in the South Florida Council as an Adult Leader. In his professional life, as a Hearing Officer, he has demonstrated a great degree of professionalism. Alex is honest, courteous and fair. Alex’s commitment to the community, his educational background and extensive work experience make him an exceptional candidate for the Circuit bench. Alex is able to understand a wide array of cases, ranging from technical to complex financial matters. Alex has been married to Deborah White-Labora for almost twenty five years, they have three children: Amanda, Christopher and Patrick. Alex would appreciate the opportunity to serve and give back to this community as a Circuit Court Judge.
